In the March/April issue of SWIMMER Magazine we reviewed sleeveless wetsuits, which offer more freedom and range of motion than sleeved ones do. Our testers, who come from competitive open water swimming backgrounds, mostly prefer sleeveless suits, citing range of motion as the most important factor in their choice—at least until water temperatures drop significantly. In addition, sleeveless models are also easier to get on and off, which can be attractive to triathletes needing a quick change at T1.
