Team Walker International Masters
Swimming is our way of life! Established in 2015, TWIM grew out of the vision of one very friendly guy, Thomas Walker, whose love of swimming is legendary and whose drive inspires us all. We offer organized coached practices in Sammamish and Centralia. Begin or continue your passion of swimming under the guidance of an experienced coach. You will be welcomed into a community of adults (18+) in an encouraging team atmosphere. This is a great program for all ability levels; novice, triathletes, and veterans are all welcome.
Practice Information
At the Pine Lake Columbia Athletic Club, we are coached MWF from 6:00-7:00 am and again there 10-11 am. At the Sammamish YMCA location, we are coached MWF from 5:30-6:30 am and from 11:45 am - 12:45 pm TTh (geared more toward new swimmers). At Thorbeckes in Centralia, we have coached practices TTh 5:30-6:30 am. At all locations, membership with the facility is required. Be sure to inquire about a tryout or trial.

USMS Certified Adult Learn-to-Swim Instructors
The Certified Adult Learn-to-Swim Instructor logo identifies swim teams near me that have a U.S. Masters Swimming–certified ALTS instructor. These instructors have furthered their swim-lessons instruction education and have passed the certification exam. Note: A certified ALTS instructor might not be at all locations or workouts.
USA Swimming Foundation
The USA Swimming Foundation logo identifies clubs that receive support from the foundation for their adult swim-lessons program. These grant programs offer adult learn-to-swim lessons at a reduced cost. Most also are led by a USMS-certified adult learn-to-swim instructor.
