US Masters Swimming Introduces Member Rewards Program Giving Away 10000 in Merchandise

Member Reward Program Starts Next Week

U.S. Masters Swimming is having another banner year for membership. As a show of appreciation for its members, USMS will be giving away $10,000 in apparel and prizes over the next 20 weeks. Each Friday, beginning March 18 and going through July 29, USMS will randomly select names from its membership database. All USMS members registered 24 hours prior to each weekly selection are automatically enrolled for a chance to win. Winners will be contacted by USMS and mailed a prize. USMS will update its website each week announcing the winners and their club or LMSC affiliation.

“In 2009, we registered 50,000 members for the first time. We are on pace to come close to 60,000 members in 2011,” comments Rob Butcher, Executive Director of U.S. Masters Swimming. “This reward program is our way of saying ‘thank you’ to our members.”

Prize giveaways will vary by week and include such items as USMS logo-embroidered bags, nutrition products from Hammer Nutrition and Fitness Nutrition, chlorine-out products from TRISWIM, and apparel from TYR, Speedo and Nike. To kick off the giveaway, a digital pace clock from Colorado Time Systems will go to a randomly selected USMS registered club.
