LOUD Loons
The LOUD Loons are located in Loudoun County, Virginia. LOUD for Loudoun! We are a very chill team for those swimmers or triathletes who want a group of people to workout with and attend races with. We are not organized through Ida Lee, but most of us do swim there. Weekly workouts will be emailed out with various levels to choose from so you can modify as needed. If you want to write one of the weekly workouts, let Rachel Pumphrey know. Swim on your own or with teammates as schedules allow. Will have an email chain where we can communicate when we all plan to swim that week so that we can meet up as much as possible. Grab lane space and circle swim with as many teammates as you can! This team will not ever be reserving lane space or have a coach on deck. These two factors complicate things very quickly. No formal recruiting process. Just word of mouth. Invite your friends that you think would enjoy this.

Sundays at 7:30 AM at Ida Lee. You have to cover your admission fee for facility use.

These instructors have furthered their swim-lessons instruction education and have passed the certification exam. Note: A certified ALTS instructor might not be at all locations or workouts.
USA Swimming Foundation
The USA Swimming Foundation logo identifies clubs that receive support from the foundation for their adult swim-lessons program. These grant programs offer adult learn-to-swim lessons at a reduced cost. Most also are led by a USMS-certified adult learn-to-swim instructor.
