Miracle Swimming School for Adults

Swimming lessons for adult beginners: those who are afraid in water. We only teach adults, and only those who have some level of fear (any level). Our mission is to teach adults the essentials everyone needs to be one with the water: happy, confident and safe in deep water. Learning strokes doesn't make people happy, confident, comfortable, or safe in deep water. Our 7000 adult students in 40 plus years has confirmed this. Hence, we teach the material that does. Once they have it, they can swim: then they can learn to swim efficiently--with strokes. We teach strokes in our advanced courses.

Practice Information

We don't have our own pool. We teach in various locations in Sarasota FL, Atlanta GA, Palm Springs CA and Hawaii. Every month: class meets somewhere in the U.S. where afraid in water adults begin learning. Our 3 core courses--Essentials 1, Essentials 2, and Deep Water Play-- bring you at your own pace to joy and freedom in water over your head. That's what we believe is the definition of, "I can swim." Though our owner has been a competitive swimmer for almost 60 years, she believes that knowing how to swim is about deep water comfort, not strokes.
