A U.S. Master Swimming grandfathered Masters coach is a currently registered USMS member who has completed the American Swimming Coaches Association Masters track prior to December 1, 2010.

In the list of USMS Certified Coaches, the Date Completed for all grandfathered coaches is 8/31/2010, the date prior to the first USMS Coach Certification class. USMS did not track the date of the ASCA Masters track completion.
