After the cancellation of the 2021 IGLA championships, Jon Bauer of the West Hollywood Aquatics swim team stepped up to ensure the 2022 event was held, and worked toward hosting the meet in Palm Springs. With his organizing committee’s work, the meet turned out to be a success with the help of, Kenny Brisbin, James Ballard, Mary Church, Liz Carlin, Chad Young, James Carameta, Audrey Kim, Bart Parnes, Thomas Wilson, Adam Larson, Geoff Heuchling, and Jessica Seaton.
