A member of the Florida LMSC since 2008, Bob served his club, LMSC, and USMS. For many years, he volunteered to coach the Villages Aquatic Swim Team, a workout group associated with Florida Aquatic Combined Team (FACT). When the 2011 USMS convention was held in Jacksonville, FL, Bob helped in the hospitality suite for the first time, then again in 2014 and 2018. He was elected to the LMSC Chair position in 2012 and attended convention as a delegate the same year. Bob became a member of the USMS Coaches and Fitness committees and he served as the Coaches Committee Chair from 2016-2019. A Level-3 USMS Certified Coach, he wrote many articles for the LMSC newsletter and USMS’s Swimmer Magazine.
