Bob served as the first Pacific Masters VP of Communications and Technology. He helped establish roles and responsibilities, which included managing both the redesign of the LMSC website and production of the Pacific Masters Update, a bi-weekly e-newsletter emailed to 24, 000 Pacific Masters members.  During the year long process of the LMSC website design, he supervised a paid contractor, reviewed website changes, tested changes, and provided feedback in a timely manner. In working with the Pacific Masters Update, Bob created a process that streamlined the compilation and minimized errors, resulting in an email newsletter the provides essential information to membership in a professional manner.  Bob also contributed to the design of the ranking ladder for determining the top Age Group Swimmers in the LMSC and was involved with improving the processes behind the calculations.
