Carrie served the Minnesota LMSC as Chair of its Charitable Opportunities Committee. She was instrumental in launching programs that provided community service projects like Habitat for Humanity, triathlon escort swimmer programs, and charity swims. Carrie also became a certified Adult Learn to Swim instructor and worked to get the program implemented in the LMSC.
