Suzi Green's started her Masters’ career by chance. A recent pharmacy school graduate, she was exercising when approached about a new Masters group in her area. That was in 1995. Over the next few years, while raising her daughters (both age-group swimmers), Suzi rarely missed a practice. When the Wisconsin LMSC needed a Secretary in 2001, she volunteered. The rest was history. Suzi organized race-day materials for the "Madison Open Water Swim" (MOWS) for years; she even hosted “envelope stuffing parties” at her home each year. When MOWS lost its long-time event manager, Suzi took over. She served on the national Fitness Education and Open Water Committees. Her LMSC lauded her organization and enthusiasm.
