Sally volunteered to maintain the Michigan LMSC website and newsletter in 2005. At the time, many of the members were unable to access the online newsletter, so she researched and created a cost effective way to provide a printed alternative. As Webmaster, her duties included updating the meet schedule and associated flyers, entry forms, and contacts for pool and open water events. She promoted USMS postal events, and the “Go for the Distance” program. Sally had additional responsibilities that included reviewing meet results before posting them to the website and USMS Top-10 times database. In 2009 she became the LMSC Vice Chair and two years later the Chair, all the while continuing to maintain the website and the newsletter.
