John King made an outstanding contributions to Masters swimming as Pacific's Officials Chair. He’s recruited members to be new officials and created a positive and welcoming environment for new and continuing USA-Swimming officials. He attended Pacific Swimming LSC officials’ meetings and encourages LMSC members to do the same. John spearheaded the development and operational guidelines for an LMSC Officials Certification Program for USMS. He attended all Pacific Masters meetings and shared his excellent ideas and leadership. In addition, he was co-meet director for several Pacific Short Course Championship meets, demonstrating his passion and commitment to our program.
