Bill has served as the Chair and Vice Chair of Southern LMSC and the newsletter editor.  He has also hosted meets, clinics, and open water clinics and races, giving those in Louisiana an opportunity to participate in a wide variety of USMS events. Bill took over Red River Masters (a group of 30) in 2004 and grew it into a team of over 70 members with 6 coaches.  During Bill’s time with Red River Masters, over 75 beginner swimmers have advanced to compete in mile swims, triathlons, and have reached other personal fitness goals.
