Patty has served as President of Virginia Masters Swim Team, where she organized relays at zone and national meets. As the LMSC Long Distance Chair, she was co-race director for a two mile cable swim. Nationally, she has been the USMS Safety Chair and was appointed as the USMS Legal Counsel for the Executive Committee in 2002.
