Sandy was the newsletter editor for the Pacific Northwest LMSC. She distributed an issue by mail ten times a year. She attended monthly board meetings and contributed to the business of the LMSC. Sandy’s efforts to produce The WetSet earned her the USMS Newsletter of the Year Award in 2000. She served on the USMS Communications Committee for a few years and attended the USMS convention.
