Dave has served his local Oregon Masters team, the Tualatin Hills Barracudas, as the Open Water/Long Distance Chair, assisting with a bid for a national open water event and with the team’s hosting of the 2003 National One-Hour Postal Swim. At the LMSC level, he has continued as its newsletter editor. Nationally, his enthusiasm and communication skills led to his election as the Northwest Zone Chair for 1997-2001.
