USMS Sunday Swim in the Olympic Trials Pool
Did you ever think you’d have a chance to swim in the same pool where Team USA qualified for the Paris Olympics? Or in the NFL stadium where Peyton Manning used to throw touchdowns? Now you can do both!
All current U.S. Masters Swimming members are invited to a once in a lifetime experience at Lucas Oil Stadium. And it is for a great cause as proceeds benefit USMS Adult Learn-to-Swim grants supported by the USA Swimming Foundation!

Details
- When: Sunday, June 23
- Options: open swim from 6:30-7:15 a.m. or 7:30-8:15 a.m. ($250); Olympian led clinic from 8:30-9:15 a.m. ($350)
- Where: Lucas Oil Stadium, 500 S Capitol Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46225; plan to arrive 15 minutes early to check-in
- What is included: exclusive opportunity to swim, meet Olympians, and take photos in the Trials pool; commemorative gift; USA Swimming Supporters Club membership
- Cost: $250 (for open swim) or $350 (for clinic) donation to USA Swimming Foundation
- How to register: either as part of the Spring Nationals entry process or event store; 2024 USMS membership is required for the open swim and clinic
- What to wear: plan to enter and exit the facility in your swimsuit. Restrooms will be available, but not showers or space to change clothes.

Why Sunday morning?
USMS has the unique opportunity of hosting Spring Nationals June 20-24 at IU Natatorium (the largest permanent swimming venue in the country) to overlap with Olympic Trials June 15-23 nearby at Lucas Oil Stadium. Since there is not a prelims session for Trials on June 23, this was our best opportunity to access the Trials pool. Apologies to the 400 IMers since this will be held simultaneously. Or consider this a great excuse to skip the 400 IM this year! 😊
Compete against your fellow Masters swimmers during the day, watch Team USA qualify for Paris at night, and have a chance to swim in the Trials… the ultimate swimming experience!
