"ALL AMERICAN:
The highest placing USMS member in each age group of each open water and long distance pool national championship event shall qualify as a member of the USMS All American Long Distance Swimming Team for the calendar year in which the event was conducted
The members of the highest placing USMS team in each age group of each open water and long distance pool national championship event shall qualify as USMS Long Distance Relay All-Americans."
