In 2004, Gretaco-founded the Twin Rivers YMCA Masters Team in New Bern, North Carolina. Her communication skills increased membership and brought together her team. She also served the North Carolina LMSC where she held the position of Secretary. In 2010 Greta launched the monthly newsletter, which she continues to edit. She also served as chair of the LMSC, while simultaneously serving on national committees. She never hesitates to encourage and communicate the benefits of lifetime swimming.
