Wes has been the guy behind the scenes who steps up and steps in when needed for organizing and overseeing meet scheduling for Oregon Masters Swimming. He interacted and prepared with the meet directors prior to meets, and helped with evaluations after. To provide more meet availability in outlying areas of Oregon, Wes helped combine some USA-S meets with USMS meets. After spearheading a complete revision of OMS Bylaws and Policies, he has also served as a caretaker, making changes when necessary. During two different tenures, Wes served as the OMS Vice Chair, and also served as the USMS Northwest Zone Chair for two years.
