Randy has been the Chair of the Florida Gold Coast LMSC, Local Long Distance Chair, Vice Chair of the LMSC, and event director for the 2000 USMS National 5k Championship at Hollywood Beach. Over the past 10 years, he has served as the Vice Chair of the USMS Long Distance Committee. Randy started multiple open water events (Key West, St. Croix, and Bonaire) over the years and created the Open Water Meet Director Guide used by USMS.
