Where can I find a place to swim? This is probably the most frequently asked question of all not only for the new Masters swimmer, but also for the established Masters swimmer who is traveling. When you are traveling and plan to work out with a local team, remember to bring your USMS card with you! Our USMS insurance coverage requires that all swimmers in a USMS-sanctioned workout are members*, and the clubs need to ensure that they are covered. Also, workout times at many pools and clubs may vary due to the availability of the facility, so it is always a good idea to call ahead and confirm the workout times.

*Note that for potential new members there is an allowable trial period, during which you may swim with a registered USMS club before deciding to join. Local details may be obtained from the club contact or coach.
