Hill Carrow Receives RJA Award

USMS's highest honor goes to longtime national volunteer from North Carolina

The Captain Ransom J. Arthur M.D. Award is U.S. Masters Swimming's highest honor, given to the volunteer who does the most to further the objectives of Masters Swimming. This year, the award went to Hill Carrow of North Carolina Masters Swimming. Hill is a USMS Recognized Coach who also received the 2004 U.S. Masters Swimming National Championship Meets Award. Congratulations, Hill, and thank you for your service!

About U.S. Masters Swimming

U.S. Masters Swimming encourages adults to enjoy the health, fitness, and social benefits of swimming by providing more than 2,000 adult swimming programs and events across the country, including open water and pool competitions. USMS’s nearly 70,000 members range from age 18 to 99 and include swimmers of all ability levels. The nonprofit also trains and certifies coaches and provides online workouts, a bimonthly member magazine, monthly eNewsletters, and technique articles and videos at usms.org.
