Relay Entry and Payments

Relays are $16 each. A credit card must be submitted when entering relays online. However, the card will not be charged until the last day of the meet, May 13. Cash or check may be presented at the athlete registration table on-site before the last day to avoid having the card on file charged. On May 13, payments for all relays entered and seeded before the last meet day will be processed using the card on file. There are no refunds for relays not swum or entered incorrectly.

Relays must be entered with age groups and entry times by the 3 p.m. deadline (see table). You may still change the name/s at any time prior to the relay being swum by crossing out the names/s on the card and replacing with the new name/s and age/s. No changes in the age group or seed time are allowed. The lead-off (first) swimmer must be identified correctly. Relay cards may be picked up in the registration area.

Relays will not be checked for mistakes and omissions made by team representatives. Disqualifications resulting from mistakes and omissions shall not be reconsidered. Accuracy and completeness are the responsibility of the coaches and/or swimmers submitting the relays.

Relay Eligibility

Each swimmer must be a registered Masters swimmer. Each of the four members of any relay team must be registered with the same Masters club. Unattached swimmers may not swim on relay teams.

Swimmers entering relays only and no individual events must complete the individual entry form, pay the surcharge, and sign the liability release. All relay swimmers must have entered the meet by April 9, 2018.

Each competitor is permitted to swim only one freestyle relay, one medley relay, one mixed freestyle relay, and one mixed medley relay. Mixed relays shall consist of two men and two women, who may swim in any order.

Relay Age Groups

Relay age groups are: 18+, 25+, 35+, 45+, etc. (10-year increments as high as necessary, determined by the age of the youngest relay member). Age for the meet is determined as of May 13, 2018. Designate A, B, C, etc. if you have more than one relay in the same age group.
