Special event rates can be found through the Olympic Trials hotel portal. Select ‘attendee’ and then the nights you are looking for. Since many Trials attendees are arriving and departing at different nights, you may consider breaking up your stay at two hotels if that helps with availability.

Indianapolis International Airport

The Indianapolis International Airport (IND) is the first new terminal designed and opened since September 11, 2001, and the nation’s first LEED-certified airport. The airport offers an average of 145 departures per day, linking Indianapolis with nonstop flights to 53 destinations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. IND is home to gorgeous public art, dining and shopping options, and Cultural Crossroads, one of the nation’s first and most comprehensive local museum stores offering merchandise and displays from eight Indianapolis cultural institutions.

Indianapolis’ $1.1 billion airport was named Best Airport in North America is 2012-2019 by Airports Council International, ranked number one in customer satisfaction by J.D. Power, and named the Best Domestic Airport by Travel + Leisure Reader’s Choice Awards. The airport is a short 15-minute drive from the heart of downtown Indianapolis. Once in the city, the following transportation services are available for guests: cab, limo, shuttle, and public bus.

Parking

Ample parking will be available in the IU Natatorium Sports Garage attached to the facility. The charge for parking will be $7 per day which will need to be paid with a credit card on entry.  

RV Options

Please contact Event Services regarding daytime RV parking options on campus. Overnight RV parking on campus is not allowed.
