2025 USMS Spring Nationals Update #4

We'd like to give a special thank you to our volunteers, organizing committee, local community, and partners for all the work put in to make a memorable championship meet.

The 2025 USMS Spring National Championship page is the location for all official information, including seeding information, heat/psych sheets, results, and live coverage (including a video stream) for your friends, family, and teammates to follow.

Please carefully review all pre-event details to ensure a wonderful experience. The digital meet program with heat/psych sheets compiled is also available.

Outside of the pool, there will be plenty to keep you entered as you Visit San Antonio including Fiesta and several social events: in Old Town Helotes on Saturday, hosted by SwimTrek on Friday, for coaches on Thursday, and even an Octogenarians and Over soda social.

Updates and Reminders

Events 400 yards and longer require positive check-in by 7:00 p.m. Central the evening prior to the event. Check-in is available now.
The competition pool will be open for warm-up on Wednesday, April 23 from 2:00-6:00 p.m., Thursday, April 24 from the end of competition through 5:00 p.m., and Friday-Sunday, April 25-27 for 30 minutes following the end of competition.
Personal chairs are only allowed under rented team tents. No personal tents are allowed. Bleacher seating is available at the outdoor competition pool and indoor warmup pool.
Team banners can be dropped off at the Solutions table at Registration and will be hung by facility staff.
Colorado Time Systems backstroke start devices will be available. Here is a tutorial.
Volunteer timers are still needed! Get a front row seat and free t-shirt and cowboy hat while supplies last.

Enter Relays

Relay registration is now open. All relays must be entered online. Entries for the relay on Thursday are due by 7 p.m. on Wednesday. Entries for all other relays are due by 7 p.m. the day prior to the relay. See the relay information page for complete information.

Relays are $16 each. If teams wish to pay for relays using a different card other than was submitted or pay by check, please go to the Solutions table prior to the end of the meet. NO CASH.

A credit card must be submitted each time a change or a new relay is entered, however, the card will not be charged until the event has concluded.

Distance Event Check-in

The 400 IM and 1650, 1000, and 500 freestyle require positive check-in by 7:00 p.m. Central the evening prior to the event so swimmers can be better prepared for when to arrive at the pool. Heat sheets will be posted online by approximately 8 p.m. Central the night before each distance event.

Split Notification

Splits will be recorded for all swimmers and submitted for records and Top 10 consideration. Split requests are required for initial distance(s) of an individual backstroke event. The swimmer is responsible for picking up and completing the Split Notification Form from the administrative official prior to the swim.

Automatic split times will be submitted for USMS Top 10, however automatic split times from individual events will not automatically appear in the USMS event results database. If you would like a split time to be added to the event results database, please email your request after the meet to Event Services.

Media Pass Request

We want you to enjoy your time with friends and teammates at Nationals, and that includes taking photos and video for your person, club, and social media use. However, if you’re planning on photographing, videoing, or conducting interviews with participants for any media outlet or commercial entity, please review our Media Pass Request information and email Publications if you have questions.

Please note: Cameras and recording devices in the pool and drones are prohibited at the event, except use by pre-authorized USMS staff or contractors.
