2025 USMS Summer Nationals Update #2

Start the countdown. We’re only 14 days from the 2025 USMS Summer National Championship. We’re looking forward to a great event with lots of fast swimming. Our Summer Nationals page is continuously being updated with meet information, including results, and live coverage.

The psych sheets are now available. See below for seeding decisions and more important updates.

The sixth event will not be dropped. Swimmers who entered six events will have the opportunity to swim all individual events entered.
All events 200 meters and longer will require positive check-in and will be deck-seeded.
The 50s and 100s will be pre-seeded with the oldest age groups first, slowest to fastest within each age group, men and women separate.
Age groups will be swum oldest to youngest.
The 200s, 400 freestyle, and 400 IM will be deck-seeded by age group with the oldest age groups first, slowest to fastest within each age group, men and women separate.
The 800 and 1500 freestyle will be deck-seeded slowest to fastest by entry time, regardless of age, men and women separate.
There will be a brief break following individual events prior to the start of any relay. This break will last approximately 5 to 10 minutes, so officials and teams can get organized.

Event Store

Presale apparel items ready for pickup, along with a wide range of additional merchandise, will be available at the Greenlayer booth in the Partner Village, located near the competition course throughout the meet.

Today, July 23 is the last day to purchase hospitality passes, which include breakfast, lunch, and snacks! Passes are available in the Event Store.

Athlete Credentials

All registered swimmers will receive a bag tag athlete credential. Please be prepared to show this upon entry to the facility. For participants and meet staff safety, the deck will be restricted to swimmers, coaches, volunteers, and meet staff. Spectators should stay upstairs in the stands for the entirety of the meet.

Volunteers & Coaches

Volunteers wanted! Volunteers are a crucial element to the success of the meet and will receive a water bottle! Contact Event Services if you have any questions.

The Coaches Committee assigns On-Deck Coaches each day of the meet as a service to all meet participants. These coaches will receive a hospitality pass for the day(s) in which they are assigned to this duty.

Club Affiliation Reminder

Swimmers can now update their club affiliation in their My Account (former My USMS account). If you update your club, please send Events Services an email and we will update your club affiliation in your event registration.

Prepare for your arrival

As you are packing your bags, here are a few helpful considerations.

Team banners may be hung from the balcony railings with zip ties only and may be left up through the end of the meet.

Coin-operated lockers are available daily in the locker rooms. Bring your quarters! Price ranges from $0.25 - $0.75 depending on the locker size.

Limited space is available on deck and in the concourse hallways for chairs. Stadium seats may be used in the balcony bleachers.
