| Description: | The 7th annual Central Illinois Open Water Swim will be in Evergreen Lake located in Comlara Park on June 24, 2017. The park is very close to Hudson, IL, 150 miles south of Chicago and 150 miles north of St. Louis. Competition is held at 1.2 miles and 2.4 miles with awards for the top three males and females at each distance. Wetsuits are allowed only if water temperature is below 78.0 degrees F. CIOWS is hosted by the Central Illinois Masters Swim team located in Bloomington, IL. |
