| Description: | Solo or relay 10k, 5K, and 1k open water swims in Sitka Sound, with a water temperature range in the mid 50’s. 10k/5k courses are open to swimmers 18 years and older, starting at Mt Edgecumbe High School ramp, swimming north out Sitka Channel and westward along Fort Rousseau Causeway State Historic Site, looping back to start/finish, 10k will loop course twice. 1k distance (open to all ages) start/finish at the Mt Edgecumbe High School Ramp. One of the most scenic swims you will ever do! |
