| Description: | 1 mile Open Water Swim Swimmers are taken by boat from finish area to course start. The course is marked by large (4') buoys every 200 meters. We will have as many as 16 kayaks, 4 Jet-Skis (one will have a sled) and approx. 8 paddle boarders. The swim will take place in the Santa Rosa Sound which is adjacent to the Portofino Island Resort on Pensacola Beach, Florida. Both myself and my business partner are USA Triathlon Certified Race Directors and Coaches. |
