We can't wait to see you in Sacramento next week! Please carefully review this email to ensure a wonderful experience.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: we have carefully analyzed the timelines and waitlist requests, and decided to swim men and women separate in all events (updated since email #2). The rest of the seeding decisions remain the same as previously published:
- The sixth event will not be dropped. Swimmers who entered six events will have the opportunity to swim all individual events entered.
-
Age groups will be swum oldest to youngest.
-
Women's heats will precede men's heats for each event.
-
The 50s and 100s will be pre-seeded with the oldest age groups first, slowest to fastest within each age group, men and women separate.
-
All events 200 meters and longer will require positive check-in and will be deck-seeded slowest to fastest by entry time.
-
There will be a brief break following individual events prior to the start of any relay. This break will last approximately 5 to 10 minutes, so officials and teams can get organized.
The estimated timeline, heat sheets (pre-seeded events), and psych sheets (deck-seeded event) have been published. Timeline notes:
- The competition pool will be open for warm-up on Tuesday, August 4 from 3:00-6:00 p.m.
- Each day will start with a warm-up session from 6:00-7:20 AM and competition starting at 7:30 a.m.
- There will be a short (5-minute) break following the individual event prior to the start of the relays on Friday and Sunday. This will allow officials and relays to get organized.
*All times Pacific Time.
