2024 USMS Summer Nationals Update #1

Let the 2024 Paris Olympics inspire you to swim fast in Mission Viejo!

We're excited to have nearly 1,300 swimmers join us for the 2024 USMS Summer National Championship at the Marguerite Aquatics Complex in Mission Viejo in just 21 days. We're looking forward to putting on a fantastic meet and we hope you're looking forward to racing in the California sunshine.

Our Summer Nationals page is your source for the official meet information, results, hotel and travel information, live coverage (including a live stream that will allow your friends, family, and teammates back home to watch you swim), etc.

We'll provide frequent email updates between now and the meet, so stay tuned for important information and enjoy your taper.

Event Store

Miss out on Summer Nationals merch during meet entry? Looking for extras for friends or family? You're in luck. Select items are still available in the Event Store and will close Friday, August 9. Presale apparel items, along a wide range of additional merchandise, with be available in the USMS Partner Village throughout the event. The Partner Village, located on the grass near the front drop-off area, is also your destination for the latest racing gear and your favorite swim products, plus fun prizes and swag.

Hospitality passes (3- and 5-day options), which include breakfast, lunch, and snacks, are also still available in the Event Store through August 9.

Scratches & Refunds

If your plans have changed or you no longer wish to attend, please contact Event Services before the refund deadline of August 5 to cut down on empty lanes and provide more competitive heats.

Please note that once we take you out of an event, we cannot put you back in.

Club Affiliation

Need to update your club affiliation? Swimmers who entered the meet and selected a club from the dropdown that does not match their official USMS registration, will need to be formally transferred. A club mismatch will result in the swimmer being updated to their club in the official USMS registration database.

As a reminder, only swimmers registered on the same club will be able to compete and score points on relays.

Coaches Volunteers

Here are two guaranteed ways to get a front row seat to all the action: sign up to be an On-Deck Coach or a volunteer.

The Coaches Committee assigns On-Deck Coaches each day of the meet as a service to all meet participants. These coaches will receive a hospitality pass for the day(s) in which they are assigned to this duty.

Volunteers wanted! Any family and friends attending the meet are encouraged to join in on the action by signing up for a volunteer position by contacting Mark Moore, Meet Director. Volunteers are a crucial element to the success of the meet.
