Images presented here were taken by Mel Dyck. Click on any image to see it bigger. Links to information in USMS Digital Archives accompany each photo in two of the formats. Some links may be missing due to variations in the spelling of names. If there is no text, the name of the swimmer will be revealed if you place your cursor over the image. We are experimenting with how best to display photos; here's what we have so far.

"image tables" (will be our best method of display, but not finished yet)'
"packed images" (works on all computers, all browsers, but has no text)'
"floating images" (good for MS Internet Explorer, but does not work well on Mac computers or older Netscape browsers)'
"stacked images" (includes technical documentation on images, should work in all computers and all browsers)'
