United States Masters Swimming (USMS) is an organization of sportswomen and sportsmen founded in 1970 and dedicated to the premise that the lives of participants will be enhanced through aquatic physical conditioning. USMS supports and encourages competitions among its members and those of other nations. Additional information is available from the USMS Home Page. This web site presents information from the USMS Archives.
People: One of the best ways to learn about Masters swimming is to read about Top USMS Swimmers and follow the links to their teams (clubs), age groups, backgrounds and friends. To get in contact with someone, try How To Find or Learn More About USMS People. Also see stories and photos of prominent people in USMS, USMS History, the beginning of our Oral History, and the Top Ten Photo Gallery. Or type their name in the box and click "Find".
Top Ten: it presents the national
rankings of USMS swimmers and a tabulation of everyone who has ever been named a USMS
All-American or
All-Star.
Swim Clubs: it presents web pages for some of the best Swim Clubs in USMS. These club pages now include all Top Ten swimmers we've identified as well as all All-Americans.
USMS History: fifty people have helped over two years to produce The USMS History Project .
