ISHOF Honorees Active in USMS

The International Swimming Hall of Fame (ISHOF) is a not-for-profit educational organization located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In addition to annually honoring the world's greatest aquatic heroes and preserving our sport's history, the International Swimming Hall of Fame's mission is to serve as the worldwide focal point of swimming and its many disciplines.

Each year, approximately 15 people are inducted into ISHOF in the categories of swimming, diving, water polo, synchronized swimming, coaching, pioneer, and masters aquatic sports. Master's swimmers were first inducted in 1995 and there are two Master's swimmers honored each year. Honorees are selected by a committee comprised of representatives from each swimming discipline and many countries. Candidates are nominated using a special form for nomination . A separate form is used for nominating a Masters swimmer. A complete list of all Hall of Fame Honorees from the United States is available.

Here is a list of ISHOF Honorees who have participated in United States Masters Swimming. Most of the information presented on the web pages listed below is provided through the courtesy of The Henning Library at the International Swimming Hall of Fame, Preston Levi, Director.
