Jan. 1, 1972 started the AAU Masters Swimming Program. Ham Anderson reported in 1985 that " June Krauser (Florida), Art Welch and Jim Welch (both Hawaii) have swum in all the National Meets since 1972. F H Ted Haartz has swum in all since 1971."

June reported on 5/1/00 "I have swum in every National Championship from 1972 till today."

502/00 Carl; In answer to your question, the answer is 'yes'. Indy last week was my 30th consecutive S/C Masters National. 1971 through 2000. This time I was not in the best of shape but did do 1 personal lifetime worst in the 100 yd breaststroke to keep the participation in tack. Scratched the 50 & 200 breasts not needing 3 personal worsts in one meet! And before you ask, Long Course in Baltimore will be my 28th consecutive - 1973 Chicago through 2000 - L/C National and the convention in Orlando will be 27 in a row - 1974 Washington D.C through 2000. This assumes no disasters between now and then. The real numbers at this moment in time are 30, 27 & 26. Ted
