The USMS Historians, Ham and Mildred Anderson, Joan P Smith and Edie Gruender, have kept safe for us an extensive collection of articles, newsletters, photographs and other artifacts over three decades. These are now being cared for at the homes of Joan P Smith and Edie Gruender. We are in conversation with the International Swimming Hall of Fame about how they might work with us to provide a permanent home for our archives with professional curatorial care. It is hoped that other people who have extensive personal archives will entrust them to ISHOF as well. We'll develop a catalogue of our archives.
All of the SwimMasters from 1971-1990, according to Ted Haartz, who sent them to me. Also Dore Schwab gave me some that could be duplicates of Ted's. As far as I know there are copies also with June or at the ISHOF.
Meet results from SC Champs 1995 from Ft. Lauderdale, SC Champs 1996 from De Anza and SC Champs 1998 from Indy.
Newsletters in binders for 96,97,98. Edie has 99.
There are 2 books (duplicates) compiled by Ham of the History from 1970-83. They are a xeroxed type of pictures and articles, (not originals) and they contain All Americans from 77-82 and World Champs 78-79, lots of these books contain SWIM Master pages. Another book 86-88 as well as a folder of history from 70 on. These were never put into a book.
Date calendars for the years 87 and 88.
Picture albums of both men and women, no dates that I could find.
Scrap book, probably put out by Walnut Creek Masters as the pictures and articles are mostly about their swimmers.
The Historian's Books that I put together for years 93-4, 94-5, 95-6, 96-7. Edie has 98 and 99.
I am compiling the newsletters that we have received, actually Richard gets them as the zone rep, but some people keep sending things to me, and, I will be sending Edie also some news articles that I have collected during this year.

I imaginge that much of this you already have if you have all the history from the Andersons and copies of "Swim Master".
Also have the photo albums from "97----2000 (the current 2).
Let me know what you want me to ship to you.
