May 4, 2006: USMS Member Survey
United States Masters Swimming (USMS) is conducting a major research project involving two separate member surveys: 1) USMS SWIMMER content survey and 2) Member consumer behavior and demographic survey. If you have recently received an email asking you to fill out a survey, please take some time to complete the survey and submit the results. We need your participation to make this project a success. Your participation in this survey is of course voluntary and your responses are both anonymous and confidential.
April 14, 2006: Long Distance Pace Charts
The Long Distance Committee has updated the Pace Chart for all postal championships and added two new pace charts. The Interval Pace Chart for distances from 100 to 3000, lists the interval times if a swimmer maintains a specific pace, ranging from 3:00 per 100 to 1:00 per 100. For a pace of 5:00 per 100 to 1:00 per 100, the One Hour Pace Chart provides exact distances for each pace interval, plus the formula to determine one's own pace. Read more...
March 23, 2006: Planned Server Down Time
The USMS web server will be off line on Monday, March 27 beginning some time in the morning (likely before 10 AM EST). This planned down time is necessary while we upgrade to a new web server. All hosted services will be unavailable during this down time, including the USMS web site, the Discussion Forums, and any hosted LMSC and club web sites. We apologize for the inconvenience.
March 17, 2006: Short Course Nationals On Line Entry Available
The On Line Entry system for the 2006 USMS Short Course Nationals is now available for use. Swimmers are encouraged to enter on line to help reduce entry errors and cut down on the work load for our volunteers.
