National Coaches Clinic
Oct.18–20, 2024 - Houston, TX

The Coaches Committee and the National Office are excited to offer the 2024 USMS National Coaches Clinic. An event designed specifically to meet the needs of today's USMS coach. For the first time, USMS will host Relay and the National Coaches Clinic together. This will create new opportunities for information sharing, networking, and camaraderie. These two events will have separate tracks with relevant and engaging sessions led by expert presenters. Both events will be about building your local swimming community, with some sessions and all hospitality and social events combined. And national coaches clinic attendees will have the option to attend Relay sessions

  • The hotel is conveniently located just steps from the main terminal at the airport, which ensures a seamless arrival and departure.

• Dates - October 18–20

• Tentative Schedule - The NCC virtual schedule allows coaches to build their own agenda, learn about speakers, and more.

• Scholarships - Please contact your LMSC for any scholarship/reimbursement information and availability

Registration

Registration will be available until enrollment reaches a max number of 125 attendees or 11:59 p.m. Pacific on Friday, October 4, 2024.

National Coaches Clinic Registration

• Registration Fee

  • $325 per coach if registered by August 15, 2024

  • $375 per coach if registered after August 15, 2024

  • USMS certified coaches who are designated coaches will automatically receive a $25 discount during registration. 

• Registration Includes

  • All Saturday Presentations and Sunday Pool Presentations
    • Transportation to and from the pool on Sunday 
    • Electronic copies of presentation materials
    • All handouts, maps and schedules will be provided in electronic format prior to the weekend
  • Hospitality
    • Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner

    • Sunday breakfast and lunch 

Hotel Reservations

USMS has secured a block of rooms at the Houston Airport Marriott at George Bush Intercontinental at a negotiated room rate of $150 (+taxes and fees) per night, and will be making all hotel reservations for those attending the National Coaches Clinic. Please complete the NCC Reservation Form, by September 13, 2024 to guarantee a hotel reservation. Requests received after this date may be subject to additional fees. If an attendee feels comfortable sharing a room and is in need of a roommate, USMS will help in pairing roommates.
