The Championship Committee develops and maintains guidelines for the use of potential national meet directors. National championship venues are selected at the annual fall convention two years in advance of the championships (e.g. the 2011 nationals will be awarded at the September 2009 convention). Bids for nationals are due by the first week of August.

Introduction Letter

The Introduction Letter will aid meet directors in the bidding process, including planning and organizing their event.

National Championship Application

The National Championship Application (MS Word Format) needs to be filled out and submitted to the Championship Committee Chair by the first week in August. The selection process takes place at the USAS Convention, typically held in September each year.

Pool Length Certification Form

The pool length certification must be on file with USMS. Please submit a copy with your application.
