Event Check-in

Positive check-in is required for all individual events 200 meters or longer. Swimmers (or coaches or friends of swimmers) may check in online for their events here beginning at 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Live Streaming and Results

A live video stream of the meet is available for family and friends to watch the swims in real-time. You can also back up the stream to view your own swim after swimming (note that there is usually about a 4-hour backup limit on the day the stream is playing, but the following day, that limit is lifted and you can back up all the way to the beginning of the day).

Results are available in several formats. Realtime results provide the psych sheets for events not yet completed and full results with splits for all completed events. Daily results by age group are updated several times a day and fully updated each evening after all events are completed for the day. Searchable results are also available on the same schedule as the daily results, and you can view all results for an individual swimmer or an entire team here. Live heat-by-heat results are also available on Meet Mobile.

Entries and Psych Sheets

There are 963 swimmers entered in the meet. The championship committee has decided NOT to drop the sixth event, so anyone who entered six events will be able to swim all of them.

Psych sheets (plus heat sheets for all preseeded events) and team rosters are available for review, as well as a swimmer lookup tool and a PDF copy of the full meet program. All participants will receive a printed meet program when they register on-site at the meet.

Estimated Timeline

An estimated timeline for the meet is now available. This timeline is only a guide for use in determining the approximate start of all events. We may run ahead of or behind the estimate. It is all swimmers’ responsibility to get to the pool well before their events and be behind the blocks before their heats start.

Event Seeding Decisions

The 50s and 100s will be preseeded, with the oldest age groups first, slowest to fastest within each age group, men and women separate.

All 200 and 400 meter events will be deck-seeded, with the oldest age groups first, slowest to fastest within each age group, men and women separate.

The 800 and 1500 freestyles will be deck-seeded slowest to fastest by entry time, regardless of age, men and women separate.

Therefore all events 200 meters and longer will be deck-seeded and require positive check-in. The men’s heats will precede women’s heats for each event (except the 400 freestyle, which will be on separate days).

Coaches Wanted

Please help the hosts of Summer Nationals run a great meet by volunteering to be an on-deck coach for warmups. One session is very helpful, but you are more than welcome to sign up for more! As thanks you will receive a shiny yellow on-deck t-shirt and a meal ticket on the day that you volunteer.
