| Description: | The Lowcountry Splash is an open water swimming event in the Charleston Harbor in Charleston, SC. This year the Splash will have our traditional 2.4 Mile event & new to 2013 will be a 5 mile event. Swimmers will start at Hobcaw Yacht Club, swim along the Mount Pleasant shoreline, under the Cooper River Bridge, passing the USS Yorktown Aircraft Carrier & finishing at the Patriots Point Maritime Center. The 5 Mile start will be on Daniel Island and merge with the race course for the 2.4 race. |
