| Description: | This swim event has been very successful with about 200 swimmers. It is a great swim in a calm ocean water cove. Even in a hurricane the water will be swimable. In fact, in 2004 we ran the event in between two hurricanes and it went great! We had over 40 swimmers who braved out the weather. Awards given to top three finishers in each age group. Wetsuits are suggested for this swim, but not required. The water is very calm in the cove, which is located in Salem Harbor. |
