Because of the devastating effects of the “Super Storm” known as Hurricane Sandy, the Long Distance Committee, with the support of the USMS Executive Committee, has extended from November 15 to November 25 the date by which all swims must be completed for the 3000/6000 USMS Postal National Championships. Entries will still be due by November 25, 2012. For those swimmers whose birthday occurs between November 16 and November 25, their age will be their age of record as of November 15, 2012. For everyone else, it will still be as of the day they swam, and results will be compiled accordingly. This extension shall apply to all swimmers regardless of their LMSC.
