Tracy is responsible for assisting USMS members and volunteers with inquiries. She oversees several special projects, including registration for both Spring and Summer Nationals and the USMS annual meeting at the U.S. Aquatic Sports Convention. She also serves as the circulation manager for SWIMMER magazine and staff liaison to the USMS Rule Book.

Tracy earned a bachelor of science degree in physical education and health from Slippery Rock State College in 1979. She began her professional career as a YMCA physical activities director. She and her husband, David, have raised two children, Victoria and Luke, in New Hampshire. She continued her involvement with the YMCA and YWCA, eventually serving as interim executive director of her local branch. USMS hired Tracy in 1996 as executive secretary and, as the only full-time employee, she operated the USMS National Office out of her home until 2008.

Tracy has been a member of USMS since 1982 and swims for New England Masters, with the Granite State Penguins workout group. An accomplished open water swimmer and water polo player, Tracy is also a member of two all-female, over-50 teams: the Mighty Mermaids (open water) and the Fighting Flamingos (water polo). Her favorite thing about USMS is that every five years she gets to be young again.
