Why are you interested in this position and why do you believe you would be a good candidate?
Masters in at a crossroads. We are embarking in a new governance model. I am chairman of the largest LMSC, I am familiar with the problems in running a large non-profit organization.
What do you consider to be the major issues facing USMS now and in the future. As a person holding an elected position within USMS, how would you address these issues?
I believe the major issue facing United States Masters Swimming is service to its members. The organiaztion has been run by a too few professional staff and to few volunteers. USMS needs an executive director who primary job is running the organization. S/He will take direction from the executive committee, and his job will be implementing EC policy.
