Chris, an assistant coach, stepped up as interim head coach after head coach Allan Liu lost his life in a biking accident. He honored his friend by hosting a Mountain View Masters’s short course meet in Allan’s honor. Even though Chris worked full time, he found the time to coach MVM and volunteer on the Pacific LMSC coaches committee. He then stepped up to be the LMSC Coaches Chair and became a leader in his LMSC’s coach recognition program. Chris also served on the USMS Coaches committee and hosted the first USMS coach’s clinic.
