U.S. Masters Swimming Dorothy Donnelly Service Award

Joining Masters Swimming in 1973, Charlie directed the annual Winters End swim meet for 26 years before passing away in July of 2001. In addition, he was meet director of three State Championship meets and instrumental in securing Canham Natatorium at the University of Michigan for state and zone championship meets. This opened the door for hosting the 1996 USMS LCM National Championship. He served on the Michigan LMSC Board for many years and as the Chairman of the Review Board to Michigan Masters as well.
